Junior Freestyle division (JF) candidate can choose one yoyo style (1A-5A) to perform a 3-min-freesytle. But you cannot choose that style again while joining the Open group. This prevents one candidate from performing two times on the stage, thus fair for other yoyo players.

We use the same scoring standard for JF and Open, and those are 3-min-freestyle performances. Therefore the score of JF and Open can be easily placing on the same list of the same style. But this mixed place is for your reference only, your place will not affect the Open group’s final result.

If your JF score has got into the first-three-place of the Open group, you will be awarding with a special gift.

Example:

Chris has joint the JF and performed 1A yoyo style on the JF stage. Then Chris will not be able to choose 1A Open, but still he can choose other 4 styles if he wants to join the Open. (i.e. 2A-5A)

And Chris’s JF score will be placed in JF final result, and that score will also be place in 1A Open for reference. If Chris’s score is high enough for him to get into the first-three-place of 1A Open, he will be awarding with a special price. But the 1A Open’s first-three-place will not be affected.

Tips:

If you have decided to perform 1A and 2A yoyo style on the stage, and you have a higher confident in winning 1A. In this case, you better play 1A as Open and 2A as JF. Such that you may win 1A and become 1A Champion. But if you have chosen 1A in JF and win, you are only awarded as JF Champion, not the 1A Champion.

Of course, you can play both 1A and 2A Open, without joining JF. But remember the Open group is open for public, which means full of skilled-candidates too. Don’t push yourself too hard and make use of your JF privileged while you are still young enough to join it.
